This is the exam held for recruitment to nationalized banks in India to fill vacancies for specialist officers for both Scale I and Scale II posts in Public Sector Banks. Find information about the examination regarding paper pattern, eligibility, etc. below.
A Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Specialist Officers. The specialist officers are from different fields: Law, Marketing, Finance, HR, Agriculture Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari and Information Technology.

Eligibility

1. Nationality
A candidate must be one of the following:
• A citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,provided that a candidate belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the the Indian government.

2. Age Limit
For posts in Scale I: a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1983 and not later than 01.11.1993 (both dates inclusive)
For posts in Scale II: a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1978 and not later than 01.11.1993 (both dates inclusive)

Selection Process

• Online Test: IBPS CWE SO is an objective type online test.
• Interview: You must clear sectional and overall cut-offs in the written test to qualify for interview.These cut-offs are specified separately for each exam held. Interview is a common interview coordinated by IBPS.
• Order of preference for banks will be obtained from successful candidates who clear both written test and interview.
• Final Selection: Based on the marks obtained as the order of preference of banks, a successful candidate will receive a call for appointment from an individual Bank.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) on behalf of 21 nationalized banks (see list below) as a pre-requisite for selection of Probationary Officers.
• IBPS is only the body conducting the written test. The vacancies in individual banks as well as the group discussion and personal interview process are managed by each participating bank separately.

Of India or any equivalentqualification recognized as such by the Central Government.The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / sheregisters and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

A Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in Public Sector Banks.

Eligibility

About IBPS CWE (RRB)

This is one of the several bank exams conducted by IBPS. It is held for recruitment to Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) or Gramin Banks. Find information regarding paper pattern, exam dates, etc. and grab the upcoming vacancy in banks.The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) on behalf of 62 Regional Rural Banks as a pre-requisite for selection of Group A Officers (Scale-I, II, III) and Group B Assistants (Multipurpose). The final recruitment is conducted independently by each participating RRB which issues a separate notification specifying the number of vacancies and eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

Following are the basic criteria for applying to the IBPS RRB exam. However, each bank will have its own criteria which the candidate needs to fulfill for being eligible for selection to the particular post.
1. Nationality
A candidate must be one of the following:
(a) A citizen of India
(b) A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
(c) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India

How to Apply

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer.However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post.Candidates can apply online only from 14.09.2016 to 30.09.2016 and no other mode of application will be accepted.Application Fees/ Intimation Charges Payable from 14.09.2016 to 30.09.2016 (Online payment) both dates inclusive, shallbe as follows:Officer (Scale I, II & III)- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.- Rs. 600/- for all othersOffice Assistant (Multipurpose)- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.- Rs. 600/- for all others
