LL.B. 3 Years
The Common Entrance Test for 3-year LL.B. is on 25th June, 2017 (Sunday) (10:00 am to 11:30 am)
Eligibility: (a) Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45%* marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Bar Council of India and Panjab University. (b) In case of candidates having Bachelor’s degree of this University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi (Gurmukhi- script) and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit or Persian or Arabic), the aggregate of 45% marks shall be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that he had secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together . 5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC/ST/BC/PWD candidates.
CET Fee: Rs. 2100 for General category and Rs.1050 for SC/ST/PWD category.
Total Seats: 300 for LL.B. 3 Years Course at University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, 60 seats at P.U. Muktsar, 60 seats at UILS, P.U. Regional Centre, Ludhiana and 60 seats at UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri, P.U. Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur.
Application : Register Online at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in/.; Note down your Login Id and Password. Download SBI Slip and pay fee in any SBI branch of India. Login and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm. Download your Admit Card after 19th June, 2017
Entrance Test: he paper will consist of 100 questions of one mark each. The distribution of marks for the respective areas of Testing would be as under: General Knowledge & Current Affairs : 40 questions; Aptitude for Law : 40 questions; Mental Ability : 10 questions; Proficiency in English Language : 10 questions; 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Total time to be allocated to this paper will be 90 minutes.
Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State Bank of India using website generated challan is 6th June, 2017.
